Kathryn ("Katie")
brings over 30 years of experience to APP. Katie works with clients
across the age spectrum (6+ years and up). In addition to individual
and group psychotherapy, her specialties include: play therapy,
couples, and family therapy. Areas of interest include: depression
(particularly with seasonal components S.A.D.), life transitions
(adolescence to young adulthood, divorce, etc.), PTSD, stress
management, grief and loss. She recently added animal-assisted
therapy, with her TDI trained/certified therapy dog, Lexi, a 7
y/o Samoyed. Research interests include: the correlation between
attachment and PTSD; depression in children; and the influence
of fathers on adult development in their children.

LexiI, a
7 year-old former champion Samoyed, has worked with Katie Amundson,
PhD., as a therapy team since 2009. As a former show dog, Lexi
has the temperament necessary to be a therapy dog. She is AKC
and TDI certified to provide animal-assisted therapy in a clinical
setting. Lexi was born to touch people with her boundless love,
mellow personality, and good looks! She is a people magnet. As
one of her clients aptly described her, she is "love on legs."

Becky has
been licensed and in practice since 1998. She enjoys working with
individuals, couples, families, children, and adolescents. She
has experience helping individuals overcome the effects of trauma
(past and present), depression, anxiety, as well as anger management.
Becky helps couples achieve better communications and thereby
have increasingly deeper and more satisfying relationships. She
also enjoys helping parents develop positive parenting skills
and strategies. Becky has extensive training and experience working
with children and adolescents in all areas that affect their lives
from domestic violence, addiction, physical and sexual abuse,
divorce to ADHD, behavior and school issues. Becky has worked
with children in foster care, as well as with foster parents and
parents working for reunification. She also has experience working
with adoptive families and children.

Diane is a Licensed Psychologist with more than 30 years of professional
experience working in the field of counseling and psychotherapy.
She works with all age groups in individual, couples and family
therapy and she has training in play therapy for children. Diane
has expertise in the treatment of mood, behavior and adjustment
disorders as well as testing and psychological evaluation of adults.
She has extensive experience facilitating recovery and healing
work around issues of shame, abuse, grief and loss, chemical dependency
and family of origin wounding. She specializes in depth process
and inner healing work. She has a strong interest in the Jungian
individuation process. In 2011 she completed a 2 year training
program in Sand Play Therapy which she has added to her practice
for the treatment of adults as well as children. Diane is also
a Certified Spiritual Director comfortable with integrating spirituality
into therapy at the client�s choosing.

Dr. Hall is a licensed psychologist. He earned his master's and
doctorate from the University of St. Thomas. Dr. Hall provides
psychological testing and assessment (mental health, anger management,

children and adults, as well as marriage and couples therapy and
has special training in family psychology. Dr. Hall emphasizes
evidenced-based practice including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy
